The Bulk Restock lane is the working backbone of any shop or mobile setup. These aren't the SKUs that win customers — they're the SKUs that make sure you don't run out mid-job. Microfiber by the case, refill spray bottles in the right sizes, masking tape that doesn't lift paint, shop towels that don't shed, nitrile gloves that fit.
The categories:
Mobile detailer: microfiber multi-pack (graded by use), 16-oz refill bottles, basic gloves. Buy seasonally based on your busy months.
Body shop / detail shop: bulk microfiber by the case, gallon refill containers, masking tape in standard widths, gloves by the box. Set a recurring cadence.
Reseller: microfiber multi-packs are some of the easiest-moving booth SKUs. Stock the visible-value pack sizes.
Microfiber goes through three lifecycle stages: new (use for buffing, drying, ceramic), broken-in (general detailing), damaged (wheels and engine bay only — never back to paint). Label your bins. Bringing a damaged towel back to paint causes more marring than washing without one.
